This is something my family and I desperately need. We have a beautiful home which we are extremely happy living in, however it is unfortunately in a less-than desirable neighborhood. As a result, like the above poster I checked with our insurance provider only to learn that our policy covered our home only.

I am mainly concerned about my jewelry collection which includes handed-down family heirlooms. Obviously, these are invaluable to me and they are also worth quite a large sum of money. The article goes on to mention that only a “small amount” is required for this type of insurance, but can anyone provide an actual number of an approximate cost?
