I want to apply for a credit card (MasterCard) at BMO and was wondering if I needed a bank account there as well. I like my Coast Capital account, but I want a BMO MasterCard. What do I do?

I don’t have credit score in the UK so I can’t get a credit card at the moment. Reason is… I arrived to uk few month ago.
