With the high cost of health care insurance, many people begin to wonder if the benefits they derive are worth the cost they pay. Things such as deductibles may make your health care plan less attractive and thus not seem to be worth the price that you pay. Co-pays are another feature of some policies that may decrease their appeal to new subscribers and make them question the feasibility of paying the money for a health insurance plan.

In the past, it was unheard of for anyone to even think of attempting to make it through adulthood without health care insurance, especially if they had children, but today’s costs have reached proportions that make their feasibility questionable. If one has been healthy and not gone to the doctor for more than a physical and possibly a minor infection, it may seem reasonable to that person that costly health care plan is not worth it.
